Southern Amp

Southern Amp shifts it up a gear for 2008 . . . . The third staging of the South Island’s biggest live music extravaganza takes place on Sunday 9 November. Southern Amp is bringing in more international acts than ever before and each of the three stages this year will be completely under cover & with a STRICTLY LIMITED capacity!!

The Southern Amp festival site is being specially designed to be built around the existing Westpac Arena with more geat thrill rides, a separate buskers’ stage, market stalls, loads of other stuff to do and plenty of bars, beverage & food outlets.

Confirmed artists are: The Living End, The Dandy Warhols, The Potbelleez, Gyroscope, Tiki, Testament, The Jordan Luck Band, Autozamm, Goodwill, Concord Dawn, Little Bushman, Dimmer, Die! Die! Die!, Fur Patrol, Goodnight Nurse, State of Mind, The Valves, Pitch Black, The Exiles with more announcements to follow...

Sucky, i'm thinking if i told my parents they'd say no. Then again i've got a debit plus card and a job, they can't really stop me and i don't plan on telling them until i get back XD, if i do go that is
