Smashing Pumpkins

Post by Mrs Tom Felton on Mon Oct 13, 2008 9:24 pm

I know there are alot of Smashing Pumpkins virgins out there so hear me out I'll hook you up with my favourite tracks.

best album: Mellon Chollie And The Infinite Sadness
[Mikey was right. If you ever have the impulse to buy a random SP album pick this one up, It's a two disc, 24 song deal jam packed with sweet sweet pumpkin jucie (song drop!) for every musical taste.]

okay I'll split my favourite songs into three catogories so you can find something to suit your preference.

Melodic/Soft songs
Stand inside your love
Sweet Sweet
With Every Light
Lily (My One And Only)
By Starlight
Beautiful
To Forgive
Tonight, Tonight
Porcelina Of The Vast Oceans

"In the middle songs"
Mayonasie
Drown
Muzzle
Today
The Scared and Profane
Thats The Way (My Love Is)
Bring The Light
(Come On) Lets Go
Here Is No Why

Heavey/Distorted songs
The Everlasting Gaze
7 Shades of Black
Where Boys Fear to Tread
An Ode To No Ode
Starz
Zero
Bullet with Butterfly wings
X.Y.U.

Pop [yes you heard it, POP] songs/super catchy
Try, Try, Try
Real Love [previously unrelesed, its on rotten apples (greatest hits)]
Wound
I Of The Morning
The Imploding Voice
1979

So yeah I have
Mellon Chollie, Machina I, Siemese Dream, Zietgeist, Gish and The Greatest Hits [Rotten Apples]
so I'm missing a few CDs Sad
But yeah, You just got Pumpkin-ized...

Farewell and Goodnight

I haven't heard many of their songs, but what I have heard, I love.

Thanks for the lists of songs! wow I think I might download some more, then ask for an album or two for christmas

I went to The smashing pumpkins in march and me and this dude where talking about P! and how they cover tonight, tonight and we were all like when they play tonight tonight we should yell really loud "that was a great P! cover"...
we didn't in the end...
that guy was so cool he was like 17 and had blond hair and looked like matt damon... feel in love i swear.

I hasn't teh cover, I FAIL!

I had a smashing pumpkins moment today!

I walked into my history classroom, and there was something written on the board, partially covered by a TV.

All I could see was "Sm" of one word and "P" of another, I was like OMM, TEH SMASHING PUMPKINSSSS!

lol awesome!
Whenever I have a shower, there's a bottle of shampoo or something, and on the bottle it says 'SP'. That always makes me think of them.

Ahh. SP was the best concert I've ever been to and probably ever will go to. I was front row centre the whole time and the whole atmosphere was amazing.

I was front center at SP. it was quite difficult to maintain the position what with the hundreds of beefy meaty men squishing us against the barrier butit was worht it ot get scowled at by Billy Corgan. he is quite bald I must say.
