    I likes the theme. Smile
On another note, a show has been added on www.mychemicalromance.com/tour
    Edinborough. Wtf?
I'm hoping/guessing it's just a test, and that the rest of the world gets a tour too...
Then I'm hoping it's not, so we can find out what they sound like now. Eeeek.

    New Blog:

"My Chemical Romance will perform at Edinburgh Corn Exchange on Monday, October 25th as part of their upoming "The World Contamination Tour" in Europe. Tickets are on sale Friday, September 24th at 9AM local venue time. Visit ece.uk.com and keep an eye on mychemicalromance.com for more information and more dates coming soon!"

    So basically they're touring Europe.

I hope they tour here after the CD comes out. And I hope the CD is good.

That video is AWESOME! Very Happy I am extremely surprised that I liked it, considering I can't stand the rest of their music anymore.

Also, is the diner in the video the same one that was in Lady Gaga's 'Telephone'? It looks very familiar.
Edit: Just checked. It does seem to be the same. Awesome.

I love the video and I love tune.

It looks like they're having fun, and apparently the bald guy is Grant Morrison - a comic book writer that Gerard's a big fan of.

I'm surprised that the album is going to be a concept one though. Didn't they say at one stage they wanted to veer away from that kind of thing?

Oh well, it's colourful and they sound great. I personally love it and I can't fucking wait until November. Well, maybe just the 22nd... right in the middle of my exams >.<

Oh and hi everyone! It's been a while... I'm sorry pig

Yeah, I was sure Gerard said something about it not being another concept. I googled, it is deffs Grant Morrision although there were no clues about the character he plays other than he's a villain, but I had kinda guessed that.

Hah - just doing a bit of reading - turns out some Morrison fans aren't too happy with the collaboration. I forgot how people tended to dislike this band. =/

Meh, I'm not a comic book person, so this whole "comics and music" fusion doesn't bother me too much.

Maybe the whole concept/ no concept idea was what caused them to rewrite the record numerous times? I'm not sure, can't say I've been too up-to-date with My Chem for the past year or two.

Haha, yeah I noticed that. I chose to stop reading lol.

Yeah after the first Umbrella Academy I kind of fell out of the loop. It started off I couldn't afford the buying them online and having them sent down from Auckland each time, then when I got a job I didn't really want to start in the middle of the series. I kind of just gave up on the comics. badrachel!

Hahaha, I just boycotted TUA entirely. I've never liked comic books, and I wasn't going to get into them just 'cause Gerard wrote them. Razz

But yeah, haven't been on Twitter nor have I regularly visited the site since the transmission thing. I may revert back to my fan-girl ways and catch up during the school holidays.

The tour sounds interesting though. What are the chances of them being a part of the Big Day Out again?

Just wanted to say, TUA is really good. And the second series was better than the first and is kinda similar to the new video in some ways. But that's coming from someone who's quite a big comic books fan.

And oooh, MCR at BDO would be good indeed! Very Happy

Lol yes, Grant Morrison is the evil villain dude, and Steve Righ? (MSI) is apparently Dr. Death Defying. Smile

My Chem actually rewrote the album. Originally it was going to be a 'young American band album' with no concept. Then Gerard decided he hated it (yay, I wasn't very excited for a typical rock album), and now we have Killjoys. Smile

I'm not a giant comic fan, but I love TUA, and I agree, Dallas is better than Apocalypse Suite. Smile

Aaaah! As much as I'd love My Chem to come to BDO, I kinda don't want them to. I'm probably going on a science course thingy at Auckland Uni at the same time. And that would make it the third time I miss out on MCR in NZ. Neutral
But if they DO come, I'll do everything I can do go. Smile

I don't want MCR to do BDO I think it would be better if they did their own show.
