These are all things you need to have sorted before asking.
If you make it sound nice and easy, like it's no big deal, the parent in question should stress less.
And offer to pay for as much as you can.

i have money for tickets and all that, so i should be sweet. ill tell him that...
ill then ask whether i can go.......
and say that we can stay in lower hutt.... oh, it might work!

they have limited space at all the stages, so its first in first served. i betcha, knowing my luck, i wouldnt get there.

Each stage has a limited capacity and during the day access is on a
first come first serve basis.

Tickets to Vodafone Homegrown are strictly limited and we're keeping numbers down to try and make sure everybody can see the bands they want to see but if you've got a favourite band it can't hurt if you get there a little early.
