no, I'm not catholic, but my mom's making me take my first communion or something like that

Ever heard of King Henry the eigth and his six wives?
He became Protestantism so he could legally divorce himself from his wife. In Protestantism the monarch has divine right and is chosen by god to rule and there from gets guidance from God and is like the Pope is for Catholicism.
The English royal family have been Protestantism since Elizabeth the first re-established it in 1568...
