I don't think I could be bothered with Ryan's new band but I may still listen to Panic.

i'd be interested in it... i'd like to see how different they sound to panic!...

Although it's probably unfair of me to assume that, I guess I should check them out first.

haha yeah apparently Panic's new stuff will be more like their first album, and Ryan and Jon's band will sound more like Pretty Odd.

and its no secret that i like their 1st album waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than pretty odd.

I like both for different reasons, with the first album I think Brandon was the one to push the whole circus-y, old fashion themes and techno-y sounds. But with Pretty odd. It was Ryan directing it all so it sounded the Way he wanted it with the cutesy lyrics etcetera.
So now they've split up Brandon's band will be like the first album and Ryan's will be like Pretty Odd.

OMM, I found out the day after it happened. I went on the thread for them on mibba, and there were these girls crying about how their lives were over now that Rydon and Panic! are no more.

I almost died laughing.

I think I'll listen to both of the bands though.

And if you didn't know...Jon and Ryan are "The Young Veins" and, according to mibba, the new members of P!anic are:

"Ian Crawford, previously from The Cab, a band that shares a label with PATD, has been recruited as guitarist, while Dallon Weekes from The Brobeck's will join on as bassist."

They might be permanent or temporary.

LOL, this girl on LJ saw P!anic the other day, and apparently the concert was Brendon's "coming out party" Here is her account, copy-and-pasted (ignore typos):

There's one of a closet door saying "We'll miss you Brendon!" and stuff.

Also, there's this vid of Brendon performing the new song at Angels and Kings, and Pete Wentz like attacks him out of nowhere. It's hilarious. It looks like he's trying to blow him or something. Therefore, there's icons of that too.
